Programs for children (6 – 12) are conducted at the club and at Douglas Park Community School. Programs for teenagers (13 – 18), are usually conducted at Timms Community Center, Douglas Recreation Center and Douglas Park Community School.
Service and Programs
We believe that children and youth need support, encouragement and direction. Our goal is to provide preventative and developmental services to children, youth and their families within the Langley community. The Langley Club Boys and Girls Club is a place for friendship, informal guidance and activities for children and youth. The Club encourages the physical, educational, character and skill development of each member through recreational and social activities.
Membership
Membership is $25 per year. No child is turned away because of their inability to pay. We value and actively promote diversity to reflect the cultures of our community in our programming, membership and staff. Our intent is ensure equal opportunities for all children, youth and adults, regardless of age, race, color, gender, creed, visibility, religious belief, sexual orientation or national origin.
