Equipped with a kitchen, an entertainment room for teens, arts and crafts room, a games area, and a large gymnasium, the club offers many alternatives to children living in the area and beyond.
Service and Programs
We believe that children and youth need support, encouragement and direction. Our goal is to provide preventative and developmental services to children, youth and their families within the North Burnaby community. The North Burnaby Boys and Girls Club is a place for friendship, informal guidance and activities for children and youth. The Club encourages the physical, educational, character and skill development of each member through recreational and social activities.
Membership
Membership is $25 per year. No child is turned away because of their inability to pay. We value and actively promote diversity to reflect the cultures of our community in our programming, membership and staff. Our intent is ensure equal opportunities for all children, youth and adults, regardless of age, race, color, gender, creed, visibility, religious belief, sexual orientation or national origin.

UPDATE
P.U.L.S.E
P.U.L.S.E, short for Pre-teens Unlocking Leadership Skills Everyday, is a program for youth between the ages of 10 and 12 years old who are involved in the North Burnaby club programs.
P.U.L.S.E helps youth develop pro-social skills to better prepare for them for adolescence. This group meets every Tuesday night where kids engage in activities to help them develop critical-thinking skills, healthy self esteem, decision-making skills and strong values that they can implement outside of the program.
The 2009/10 Pulse Program has finished. We will be starting up again in September 2010. Please contact the Club for further information.
