Parent Support Services

Parents Together is a professionally supported mutual support/self help program that provides safe, supportive group environments where parents can access understanding, nurturing, resources, knowledge, and additional skills to improve and strengthen their relationships with their youth aged 12-18.
BGCGV has a total of six Parents Together groups located in East Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby and Surrey. Four of the groups are English Speaking and one group is conducted in Vietnamese and another in Punjabi.
These programs are services provided by BGCGV and Boys and Girls Clubs of British Columbia, and are funded by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Smart Fund, Pacific Community Resources Society and BGCGV.

Parents Forever is a professionally supported mutual support/self help program for parents and family members of adult addicted children (18 years of age and up). Parents Forever provides a safe and confidential place for parents and family members to come together on a regular basis to share their experiences, their wisdom and their courage.
Parents Forever is located in Vancouver West. This program is provided by BGCGV and is funded by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, From Grief to Action, and BGCGV.

Mediation for Separated Parents is a program sponsored by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver with the intention of helping separated parents reaching a consensus with their separation. It offers a peaceful and economical approach in comparison to litigation.
